Director Name not available

When trying to create Draft CT600 Submission, in the Accounts Information section, I can't select a "Director Name (for signing)". The available options in the drop down are: "--- Select Person---" and "Other (enter manually)".

I am able to see and select my name in the "Tax Return Declaration" section - why can I not see my name in the section above?

Thanks for reporting this - that's a strange one as both dropdowns should show the same list of directors.

Could you please try doing a "hard refresh" of the page? This clears any cached files that might be causing the issue:

- On Windows/PC: Hold Ctrl and press F5 - On Mac: Hold Cmd+Shift and press R

If that doesn't fix it, please let me know and we'll dig deeper.

Thanks for the swift response!

I tried doing CTRL+F5: No luck, the Accounts Information Section still doesn't provide a list of Directors.

FYI: I filed my Companies House accounts directly with Companies House rather than through Tiny Tax; could that be something to do with it?

Thank you for reporting this issue with the Director Name dropdown in the Accounts Information section.

We've investigated and identified the cause. When you had previously filled in the Tax Return Declaration section and then your browser session was interrupted (which can happen if you had multiple tabs open or there was a delay between actions), the system was able to restore your declaration name from saved data but couldn't restore the director dropdown options.

We've now deployed a fix that ensures the director list is always available, even if the session is interrupted. The system will automatically recover the company data including all director names.

Please try again - you should now be able to select your name in both the Director Name (for signing) dropdown and the Tax Return Declaration section.

If you encounter any further issues, please let me know.

Thanks - however, I've just retried and have the same issue.

Is there anything I need to do to allow the fix to take effect?

Thanks for your patience - we've now deployed an additional fix that should resolve this.

The issue was that when your browser session expired or was interrupted, the system couldn't recover the director list on a page refresh. We've added a fallback that recovers your company data even when you refresh the page or return later.

If you still have trouble after clicking that link, please do a hard refresh (Ctrl+F5 on Windows or Cmd+Shift+R on Mac) to clear any cached JavaScript.
